Yuri?!?! How about YOU on ice!
Join us for an evening of anime's favorite sport at Austin's favorite ice rink! Festivities will include cosplay contests with valuable prizes, dance performances by con favorite Love Notes, maid cafe, vendor tables, and a special skating performance inspired by "Yuri!!! On Ice!" Plus, our special guest host for the evening will be Mica Burton of Rooster Teeth's Achievement Hunter.

COSPLAY CONTEST
Skaters who pay the $10 admission and skate rental may enter the cosplay contest at no additional charge. Non-skating cosplayers will be charged $5 to enter the contest. Contest will be divided into several categories depending on number and type of entries. More info on contest rules is TBA.
COSTUME, PROP, AND WEAPONS POLICY
Costumes: This is a family event. All costumes must adhere to a "PG" rating. All costumes will be checked at the main entrance for appropriateness. If you are planning to skate on the ice, please be sure your costume does not pose a tripping or other hazard to yourself or to those who may be skating around you. If you have a very large costume, please bring a handler.
Props and Weapons: Chaparral understands that wearing and carrying props and replicas is an important part of cosplay. Any and all props must be handled in a responsible manner at all times. Guests brining prop weapons or other items use and carry them at their own risk and assume all risks of liability to and from anyone injured or otherwise harmed directly or indirectly by the wearer's/carrier's acts or inaction. Chaparral Ice shall not be liable for injury, harm, damage, or other liability associated with any person's use of any weapon, permitted or banned, at Chaparral Ice events.
No props shall be carried on the ice except during the cosplay contest.
ABSOLUTELY NO REAL WEAPONS OF ANY KIND WILL BE PERMITTED AT THIS EVENT! All props and prop weapons will be inspected at the main entrance before being allowed in the facility.
