SPRING and SUMMER SAILING CAMPS It’s Austin Sailboat Rentals fourth year at teaching both boys and girls how to sail or sail better, and we’re offering spring and summer sailing camps this year on two beautiful lakes, Lake Austin at the Walsh Boat Landing and Lake Travis at Bob Wentz Park. Camps have a certified US Sailing instructor, certified lifeguard, and one counselor per five camper ratio, so your kids are not only going to learn how to sail the right way, they are going to be safe, while having a whole lot of fun!

Sailing Camps

SPRING and SUMMER SAILING CAMPS It’s Austin Sailboat Rentals fourth year at teaching both boys and girls how to sail or sail better, and we’re offering spring and summer sailing camps this year on two beautiful lakes, Lake Austin at the Walsh Boat Landing and Lake Travis at Bob Wentz Park.

SPRING SAILING CAMP is only offered on Lake Austin this year, during the week of March 14 – 18, from 9 am and 5 pm (early drop-off and lake pick-up are available), for kids 8 to 16 years old, who are either beginners or intermediate sailors, Campers will be divided by age and then skill level and will be taught accordingly by qualified sailing instructors and counselors.

SUMMER SAILING CAMP is offered on both Lake Austin and Lake Travis to kids 8 to 16 years old, who are either beginners or intermediate sailors, in weekly sessions (alternating weeks) from 9:00 am and 5:00 pm (early drop-off and late pick-up are available), Monday-Friday, during the months of June, July and August.

Both camps will focus on fun, learning how to sail or sail better, team building, and safety.

Home-schooled Sailing Program

Austin Sailboat Rentals has just completed their third year at successfully teaching over 2,000 + kids how to sail. We are launching a Spring Home Schooled | Home-schooled Sailing Program on Lake Austin for kids that want to learn how to sail or continue sailing into the spring.

Our spring curriculum includes teaching home schooled | home-schooled kids 8 to 16 years old how to sail safely and the right way. If your child already knows how to sail, then we’ll work on better sailing techniques and/or racing rules and maneuvers. We are offering Home Schooled | Home-schooled Sailing every Wednesday from 1 pm to 3 pm, during the months of March, April and May. The cost is $25 for two hours of sailing each Wednesday.

If you are interested in our Home Schooled | Home-schooled Sailing Program, please fill out he online register form below and also make an online deposit. Your $50 deposit will be applied towards the first two Wednesdays of sailing. If raining or below 60 degrees, we will not have Home Schooled | Home-schooled Sailing, and will either issue you a credit towards a future Wednesday, or a full refund, which every you request.
