Books and Baking at Bake Austin 2018

In this brand new camp we will be exploring literary foods. Treacle Tart from Harry Potter, Blue cookies from Percy Jackson, Turkish Delights from Chronicle of Narnia, and Dauntless Chocolate cake from Divergent. Plus whatever else we can come up with. All of our camps are structured so that each student has plenty of hands-on experience, measuring, weighing, making batter and decorations. The kids will receive a lot of information about why recipes work, what methods are used and how to troubleshoot in case something doesn’t work out.
