Candy Camp at Bake Austin 2018

Our popular candy camp is back. This camp is super fun for anyone who loves to eat candy and use the kitchen. Kids will not eat a lot of sugar in this camp (don't worry) but we will make a lot of yummy things out of it. There is always enough to share with friends and family. Also, this is a GF camp, for those who are looking for it. This has been a very popular camp in the past few years and we have a lot of fun making homemade candies. Most of the time it turns out to be a healthier version of old time favorites, like caramels, pixie stix and the most popular our butter mints! Each day we make one or two different candies and the kids will leave with their goodies and the recipes. This is a hands on camp, just like all of our other camps. All of our camps are structured so that each student has plenty of hands-on experience, measuring, weighing, making batter and decorations. The kids will receive a lot of information about why recipes work, what methods are used and how to troubleshoot in case something doesn’t work out.
