Trick or Treat Trail is set for Monday, October 31st from 5 to 8 p.m. This year’s event will take on a different set up then previous downtown Halloween events. The Trail will begin at the Bastrop Public Library, 1100 Church Street and will feature activities all the way down to Fisherman’s Park. “The Bastrop Main Street program realizes how street closures impact our businesses, and we think this new event layout is going to please our downtown business, residents and most importantly our event attendees, as well as keep public safety at the forefront” said Main Street Program Director Sarah O’Brien. New to this year’s event the Ministerial Alliance will feature a variety of children’s activities at the Bastrop Christian Church.
Attendees will have the opportunity to trick or treat with numerous Bastrop Businesses along the trail and end the evening in Fisherman’s Park. Ample parking is available for attendees in historic downtown Bastrop at any of the public parking lots.
