Explore Elgin Arts & Culture is a day full of activities and fun for the whole family. Local studios open their doors to the public and downtown businesses host artists from all over Central Texas for a day filled with artists demonstrations, live music, and hands on activities in historic downtown Elgin. Featured studios are Studio 621, Earthen Metals, and The Clever Tiger.

Art mediums include jewelry, ornamental metal smithing, watercolors, glass, blacksmithing, geologic creations, photography, paper and fiber arts, ceramic tiles, sculpture, film, woodworking, and more.
In celebration of the 150th Anniversary for the city of Elgin there will be Guided Public Art Walks starting at The Owl Wine Bar& Home Goods Store from 10-11:00 a.m. and 4:00-5:00p.m., Church History Tours from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Not Your Ordinary Garage Sale from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Chalk-it-up in Veterans Park. Not Your Ordinary Garage Sale will have several homebased locations selling Artwork, antiques, and vintage - shabby chic collectibles Visit etx150.com for additional information.
