Hello Roller Skaters! I want to build your confidence in the world of rhythm/dance skating.
There will be two separate classes! One for strictly learning how to skate and tightening up your skills AND the other for Dance Skating! Choose your own adventure or explore both!

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CLASS TYPES?
SKATING FUNDAMENTALS: It's time to go back to basics! These sessions will focus solely on the fundamentals of skating which I describe as, forward and backward skating, crossovers, transitions, falling, stopping, and balance.
Start here if you are new to skating, trying it out, or need a refresher.
DANCE SKATING: We will be working on simple skate routines, footwork, and shuffle skate type movements. Routines will be different each week so you'll never be behind! (We might run through previous routines as a refresher)
Skaters must be able to at least skate forward confidently on their own to attend this class.
Lessons are for ages 10 and up at this time.

My name is Tinisha. What’s my background you ask? Well, I grew up in the world of roller skating ever since I was 2 years old in Houston, TX. My dad used to take me to the rink almost every weekend and as I grew up and I never stopped skating!

I have over 28 years of experience in rhythm/dance skating (some might call this jam skating). I'm a dedicated patience instructor and enjoy what I do. My mission is to pass on the fun of skating to others!
