Homeschool Day returns to the Science Mill this November! Explore the wonders of the living world at Homeschool Day: Careers in Biology. Learn the secret to walking on water, create a “monarch mobile” and use microscopes to reveal details hidden from the naked eye. Hear what it’s like to care for zoo animals and how computers help us understand DNA in video presentations by Lead Reptile Keeper Lisa Keys and computational biologist Alyssa Cantu. This program will be offered twice—November 4 and November 19—to support social distancing; register for a Morning session (10am-1pm) or an Afternoon session (2pm-5pm).
