LITTLE HUMMINGBIRD SOCIETY: Tree mulching at South Austin Senior Activity Center
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 09/18/2021
Join Austin Parks Foundation’s Little Hummingbird Society as we give back at the South Austin Senior Activity Center! Little Hummingbird Society offers kids a great way to learn about giving back to their community and the importance of Austin’s parks, trails and green spaces. Parents can have fun with their kids while promoting a healthy lifestyle, volunteerism and advocacy for your youngest park-goers! We’ll spend the day mulching some newly planted trees, picking up litter and serving a vital population of our city!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Volunteers should bring their own mask and water bottle and we’ll take care of the rest!
We’ll meet in the parking lot and get started right at 9. Thank you so much for serving with us in our parks!
