Nature Nights: Geology, Fossils & Caves

Nature Nights are free, family-friendly events filled with exciting explorations of native plants, animals and the ecology of Central Texas. Each evening features interactive presentations, hikes with experts in their fields, and nature crafting for kids of all ages.

The Arachnids & Insects Nature Night kicks off the fun with a safari of all things that crawl, buzz, fly and scuttle.

Free admission 6 – 9 p.m.
Regular admission is charged during the day. Admission is always free for members.

Wildflower Café will be open and also have a tent in the Courtyard with meals, snacks and refreshments available for purchase.

Rocks are some of the greatest storytellers. They show us what came before with layers and fossils, and they shape the world we live in today. Come witness how water moves through our karst landscape and go all in with a cave tour.
