SPACE WARS ROBOTICS AND JEDI MASTERS SUMMER CAMP

- MORNING SESSION –
SPACE WARS ROBOTICS:
In this Star Wars-inspired program, your padawan learner will explore the basics of robotics while digging into their favorite parts of the Star Wars movies - the machines! While working with a partner to complete various challenges, your student will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with creative building challenges based on the movies they love. May the force be with them as they build and grow!
- AFTERNOON SESSION –
JEDI MASTERS:
In this Star Wars®-inspired program, your youngling will explore the galaxy with their master building skills and our intergalactically-focused curriculum. Motivated to become Jedi like the heroes in the movies, students will learn to concentrate on mastering the Force, appreciating the use of teamwork to build battle drones and AT-Walkers, and if their skills are up to par, make their very own lightsaber and use it in battle! May the force be with your young Padawan as they rise through the Jedi ranks!
- CAMP NOTES- Campers must be at least 7 years old by the date of camp. Campers should bring a sack lunch that does not require refrigeration or warming, snack and refillable water bottle. A refrigerator and microwave are not available for the lunch period. Students will have time to eat and play outside (weather permitting) or free building time with LEGO® bricks during the lunch break. Special consideration can be made for younger students. - EXTENDED CARE-
We can offer extended care in the mornings starting at 8am for an additional $20 per child. Kiddos will have access to our loose bricks to get their mind prepped for the fun day ahead.
