Maker Scouts: Adventure Archaeology

We will explore the exciting subject of Adventure Archaeology (think Indiana Jones, but real life!) by working on lots of exciting projects, learning about real adventure-hunters, explorers, and archeologists, and will collaborate on building a large scale jungle adventure-themed obstacle course.
There will be skill-building, design challenges, creative crafting, time to work on personal building projects, and tons of fun hands-on activities and learning experiences.

Notes
A HIGH LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY IS REQUIRED FOR CAMPERS. Must be able to listen, follow instructions, be respectful of others and of the space, and have a genuine interest in tinkering. We will be working with tools outdoors in a covered area and also have access to a spacious well ventilated barn . Masks will be optional. Teachers are fully vaccinated and will sanitize shared surfaces regularly. We will wash hands often. Please send kids with sunscreen already applied each day. On Wednesday we may go on a short walk to a nearby park.
