March 12 – All About Butterflies
Get ready for National Learn About Butterflies Day! Flutter by on this day to learn something new about butterflies and appreciate their beauty. Butterflies need our help to survive as they rely on native flowers and natural resources. Help your local butterflies by planting native.
April 9 – Discover Nature with iNaturalist
Grab your smart phone and head outdoors to observe, record and share your plant and wildlife sightings here at the Wildflower Center. Join fellow nature enthusiasts as you gather data to share through iNaturalist. No experience is required. Participants will only need a smart phone with the iNaturalist app installed. An on-site expert will guide and assist all with app installation, photo tips and more.
These drop-in programs will take place in person at the Wildflower Center. Face masks are optional while attending. Please review our safety guidelines before your visit.
This program is free with regular garden admission (and does not require separate registration). Presently, admission is open by reservation. Reservations can be made up to seven days in advance. Admission is always free for members!
