Summer Aerial Intensive: Trapeze & Lyra for Youth & Teens

Students in grades 1st-12th can join us this summer for our Trapeze and Lyra Intensive where students of all levels and experience are welcome - even beginners! The intensive will consist of a thorough floor and aerial warm-up, learning skills on both trapeze and lyra, and building a short routine on the apparatus.

• Price: $225
• Age Requirement: Our Summer Intensives welcome those going into 1st-12th grades.
• Skill Requirement: All levels of students are welcome. We will split groups out by age and skill level to ensure everyone learns something new and challenging.
• Days and Times: The intensive will be held Monday through Friday from 12pm-2pm.
• It is your responsibility to ensure your child is dropped off and picked up on time. Please drop them off no earlier than 11:45am and pick them up promptly at 2pm.
• Parents or legal guardians are required to come into the studio each morning and afternoon to complete the drop off and pick up form.
• We are not offering any after care and parents/guardians are required to pick up their student(s) promptly when their intensive class ends.
• There is a showing and photo-op on the Friday of the intensive at 1:15pm. The showing and photo-op will be open to one parent/guardian per camp participant!
• Location: The intensive is held at our Springdale General Studio located at 1023 Springdale Rd, Building 8A, Austin, TX, 78721.
• What to Bring & Wear: Attendees should bring a water bottle and a mask. Students should wear form fitting pants that cover their knees with no hard seams, buttons or zippers, and form fitting tops with sleeves (no tank tops please). We highly recommend wearing a leotard underneath for maximum comfort in aerial work.
• Covid Safety: To maintain our Covid safety protocols, everyone is required to wear a mask for the duration of their time in the studio.
• Cancellation and Refund Policy: To withdraw from the intensive and receive a refund to account credit to apply to future camps/intensives or classes at Sky Candy, we require a minimum of 14 days notice before camp start time and it will be subject to a $50 administrative processing fee. No monetary refunds are available if you need to cancel for any reason.
• Please note that if there are 4 or fewer students enrolled as of one week before the start time of intensive, the intensive will be canceled. No administrative fee will be charged in this instance and a full monetary or account credit refund is available.
