Plants of Palmetto Hike

Do you know which plants could be tools, edible, or dangerous? Join us on this hike to learn about some of the plants found at Palmetto SP. What plants are edible, which can be used as tools, and most importantly, which ones are dangerous.

Time/Locations: 9:00am meeting at the Oxbow Lake Trail head near the fishing pier. 

Bring: Dress for the weather, closed toed-shoes, and water 

Hike: Roughly cover less than a mile, over level terrain 

Cost: This event is free with paid park entry, which is $3 per adult, those 12 and under are free. On weekends, reserve your day-use passes early online!
