Gospel on the Lawn Celebrating Black History Month and the Heritage of Gospel Music

Christopher D. Spivey & Co. and the Neill-Cochran House Museum present a free one-hour outdoor concert of gospel music on the NCHM lawn. Join this celebration of Black gospel music and visit the Museum, including the last intact slave quarters remaining in the city of Austin. The concert and admission to the Museum on the afternoon of the concert are free.
The performance will begin at 2:00pm on the grand front porch of the Neill-Cochran House Museum. Iced tea and water will be available. Seating will be provided but guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and food.
The Museum will offer free admission from 1:00PM to 4:00PM allowing concert attendees to tour before the performance.
