Official museum of the Texas National Guard located on Camp Mabry in Austin. Free and Open to the public Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. Exhibits cover the volunteer and militia units of Texas in the Revolution, Republic, Mexican-American War, Civil War and Spanish-American War and the Texas National Guard in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Cold War, the War on Terror, Peacekeeping Missions and Disaster Response Missions. Lots of tanks, aircraft, jeeps, artillery pieces, uniforms, computer interactive exhibits and more.
