Touch-A-Truck at Camp Mabry

This is a family friendly event that hosts a wide variety of vehicles for kids of all ages to play on while learning about the automobiles and how they help serve their communities. Touch-A-Truck will again be held at Camp Mabry this year, the perfect location for a family event that draws thousands. This year’s Touch-A-Truck will feature — in addition to the vehicles — live music, plenty of food trucks, and a Kid Zone complete with a petting zoo, face painting, barrel-train rides and much more.
Each year, SAFE must raise more than 65 percent of our operating budget from the community. With your support of Touch-A-Truck last year, you helped raise over $125,000 for the children at SAFE and we are excited for an even bigger event this year!
Touch-A-Truck is a fun way for families to bond as their children explore vehicles they have seen in movies, books, or just driving down the street. But more than that, Touch-A-Truck represents what SAFE is all about – helping to promote happy, healthy families in our community. Thank you for your support in this event, it allows us to provide the services and resources for the kiddos in our care.
Tickets are $5 for children and $10 for adults.
VIP tickets are $25 per ticket. VIP access includes early entrance at 9 a.m. so you can skip the lines!
Camp Mabry is located at 2200 W 35th St., Austin, Texas.
A few tips for Touch-A-Truck:
• We encourage sunscreen, hats, and closed toe shoes for all Touch-A-Truck attendees.
• Our truck horns are very loud! If noise is an issue, please bring hearing protection equipment.
• We do not charge for infants (under 1)
• Traffic entering Camp Mabry slows down around 12 p.m. To avoid the traffic rush, join us at 12 p.m!
• Emergency medical staff will be available on site — if you need any assistance, go to our medical tent or speak with a Touch-A-Truck staff member

Volunteering
We need your help by assisting with selling/taking tickets, assisting our professional parking team, passing out water, cleaning, etc. The minimum age requirement is 13 years old with adult accompaniment. Email Lindsay Contreras at lcontreras@safeaustin.org with any questions.
