This is the camp for kids who’ve never baked before — or who’ve only ever helped from the sidelines. Over the week, they’ll learn how to measure, mix, knead, and frost, and start to understand the science behind why baking works the way it does.

Baking 101
Every baker starts somewhere. Bake Austin’s Baking 101 is that somewhere.
This is the camp for kids who’ve never baked before — or who’ve only ever helped from the sidelines. Over the week, they’ll learn how to measure, mix, knead, and frost, and start to understand the science behind why baking works the way it does — why dough rises, what heat does to sugar, why ratios matter. Cookies, cupcakes, muffins — real recipes from day one, with something to bring home every afternoon.
Turns out baking is just chemistry you can eat.
