Blue Hole Star Party

The stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Wimberley!
Bring your family and friends to our bi-annual Blue Hole Star Party event to enjoy an evening of stargazing in the Hill Country on May 20th from 8:30pm - 10:30pm. The Wimberley Valley Dark Sky Committee and the Texas State Astronomy Club will be sharing their telescopes and knowledge with us for the night.

Admission is free! You are encouraged to bring something to sit on, a picnic, and flashlights and then meet us on the soccer fields near the basketball courts. Alcohol and smoking are prohibited at Blue Hole Regional Park.
Schedule is as follows:
8:30 – 8:45pm – Welcome
8:45 - 9:30pm – Sky Tour with expert astronomers
9:30 - 10:30pm – Star viewing with telescopes
10:30pm – Closing questions
