Botanical Art Drawing

Calling all budding artists! Join visiting artist Dorothy Hunter to learn how to draw fall- blooming flowers. Children will learn about botanical art illustration, including fundamental principles, drawing skills and color mixing, and using graphite and colored pencils. Before the drawing begins, the class will tour the gardens for inspiration. Class will result in each child taking home a beautiful botanical drawing. Saturday, 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Fee: $40.00 child (ages 10 years and older), includes all materials. Registration required.
