50 years ago today, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin defied gravity by being the first creatures from Earth to touch the moon. Come celebrate with us!

From 9 am-Noon, join Ranger Kristen at the Upper Falls Parking Lot to celebrate the moon landing! This come and go event will feature different activities such as:
- Looking at the Sun safely through our telescope with a protective filter.
- Exploring the challenges humanity had to overcome to achieve this awesome feat.
- Discover how the Earth and the Moon's journey around the sun creates a hostile environment for explorers in space and gives us the different phases we enjoy from our own backyards.
Meet: Upper Falls Parking lot
Bring: Water, dress for the weather
Great for all ages, but young explorers must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. (15 and under)
