Dino Days activates the Hartman Prehistoric Garden at Zilker Botanical Garden weekends February 22-March 22, 10:00AM-2:00PM. Visitors of all ages are invited to explore the flora and fauna present in Central Texas during the Cretaceous period as the Garden hosts family-friendly activities and interactive fossil presentations by local paleontologists. Visitors can register for make-and-take Prehistoric Planter Workshops or participate in the Dino Day Children and Pet Parade on the last day.
Each weekend will offer a little something different, but all will include the following: Prehistoric Art Contest, Scavenger Hunt, Tricera-Toss, Spore Explore, Story Walk, Dig Pit, Let’s Get Tactical, and Fossil Making.
This year, we're excited to partner with BK Bones for interactive presentations on select dates and Big Wy’s Brass Band to lead the Dino Day Children and Pet Parade!
