“We are very excited to provide an unforgettable Easter experience for families,” said Brooke Grant, Marketing Manager at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa. “On Easter Sunday the resort will feature a spectacular holiday brunch, as well as an Easter Egg hunt, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and many other holiday-themed activities for the entire family to enjoy. We will also provide special Easter-themed activities for our overnight guests including Easter Bunny delivered gift baskets to guestrooms and even a magic show the evening of April 20.”
Guests staying at the resort the evening of Saturday, April 20 will have the opportunity to arrange a special visit from the Easter Bunny who will deliver a holiday gift basket to their guestroom on Easter morning. The gift baskets are $35 each and include a stuffed animal, Easter-themed toys, candy, and bubbles. Guests must order the gift baskets by 5 p.m. on April 15 and can do so by emailing the resort’s activity director, Suzy Nicely, at suzy.nicely@hyatt.com.
The resort’s Easter brunch will take place on Sunday, April 21 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. It will feature a myriad of dining options including breakfast favorites such as made-to-order pancake and omelet stations; fresh seafood including gulf oysters, crab claws, and steamed mussels; fresh-from-the-garden salad options with toppings ranging from fresh fruit and nuts to delicious house-made dressings; artisan-cured meats and cheeses; a carving station with everything from herb-and-salt-roasted prime rib to cedar plank salmon; as well as side dishes including a four cheese mac and cheese with brown butter breadcrumbs, carnival cauliflower and baby carrots with toasted pine nuts, spring asparagus, and much more. The resort will also feature several dining options for children with a “Little Tikes” station providing everything from chicken nuggets and fresh fruit salad to peanut butter & jelly sandwiches.
Guests of the brunch can also enjoy more than 10 dessert selections including fresh berry tarts, pink velvet cupcakes, white and dark chocolate bread pudding with dulce de leche, as well as the resort’s signature chocolate fountain with dipping items including strawberries, marshmallows, rice krispy treats, and pound cake.
Following the brunch, families can take part in several holiday activities including the resort’s famous Easter egg hunts. The egg hunts will begin at 10 a.m. on Riversong Lawn and will have staggered starting times for the different age groups, from ages zero and up. Guests will have the opportunity to take family photos with the Easter Bunny, visit the on-site petting zoo, where they can meet and interact with animals including the resort’s four new pygmy goats, and more.
The holiday brunch is priced at $64 for adults, $28 for children between the ages of 6 years old and 12 years old and is complimentary for guests ages 5 years old and younger. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (512) 308-4860.
