Frog & Toad Watch- Lockhart State Park

Discover the frogs and toads that call Lockhart State Park home! Registration required.
Learn how to identify common amphibians by sight and sound, and conduct a survey at a nearby pond! No experience needed! Recommended for ages 5+.

Registration: Program is limited to 10 participants, so registration is required. Please call park HQ at 512-398-3479 during business hours (8am-5pm daily) to register for this program.
Prepare: Wear weather-appropriate clothing and insect repellent. Bring a flashlight. Be prepared to walk about half a mile. Face coverings are highly encouraged.
Meet: At the Park Headquarters building.
Fees: Regular park entrance fees apply ($3/adult, free for children 12 & under). If our office is closed when you arrive, please use the self-pay station to check in.
