Join Waterloo Greenway Conservancy as we celebrate an exciting new chapter for our city – The Grand Opening of The Confluence! Free and open to the public, the event will run from 10am-2pm on Saturday, June 6, along Waller Creek between 4th St. and Lady Bird Lake. Enjoy free family-friendly community programming throughout the entire greenspace.

Join Waterloo Greenway Conservancy as we celebrate an exciting new chapter for our city – The Grand Opening of The Confluence! Free and open to the public, the event will run from 10am-2pm on Saturday, June 6, along Waller Creek between 4th Street and Lady Bird Lake. Enjoy free family-friendly community programming throughout the entire space. Food and beverage vendors will be on-site with coffee, cold drinks, fried chicken, popsicles, cookies, and more!

As you meander along new boardwalks and pathways, you'll discover all sorts of fun including:

  • Live music & DJ tunes
  • Face painting
  • Interactive art activities
  • Fun learning opportunities at community partner tables
  • An interactive and sensory-friendly scavenger hunt
  • Beautiful shade trees
  • Wildflowers and other pollinator plants
  • A new way to experience downtown Austin!

Ways to get there:

  • Affordable parking for $5 at the Austin Convention Center garage at 4th St & Red River St (601 E. 5th St.)
  • Rideshare: Ridesharing is encouraged as a convenient alternative to driving.
