H-E-B Free First Sunday: Juneteenth

Celebrate Juneteenth with storytelling, crafts, and hands-on activities for the whole family.

Enjoy FREE exhibition admission all day during H-E-B Free First Sundays, held the first Sunday of every month. Activities are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Activities:
- Create an art project with Galleries at Black Studies
- Learn about the Juneteenth flag and create your own
- Join our friends at Girlstart for interactive STEM demos and hands-on activities for kids of all ages
- 10:30 a.m. Join award-winning poetic storyteller Oba William King as he shares traditional drumming, songs, and stories about Juneteenth
- 1:00 p.m. Watch the documentary Juneteenth: Faith and Freedom in the Spirit Theater
