Join us in commemorating Independence Day weekend aboard the Bertram Flyer! Take a leisurely trip back in time to the illustrious days of passenger rail travel on the Bertram Flyer! Our collection of vintage train cars hails from the glamorous '30s, '40s, and '50s, meticulously restored to ensure your utmost enjoyment. Embark on a 44-mile voyage, traversing the scenic South San Gabriel River and making a brief 15-minute stop at the historic 1912 Bertram Depot. Feast your eyes on the breathtaking vistas of Short Creek Canyon, behold the majestic 300-foot wooden trestle bridge spanning the South San Gabriel, and marvel at the iconic Duffy-Shamrock communications mast—one of the tallest structures globally! Indulge in beer and wine available for purchase during this special occasion in our Cedar Park car.

This 44 mile ride is 3.5 hours round trip with a 15-minute layover. SCHEDULE: Departs 9:00 AM, Returns 12:30 PM. Due to the unique nature of our non-profit railroad operations, there are no refunds.
We wish to provide each passenger with the best possible experience during their excursion. To ensure this, we kindly request that groups of two avoid choosing seats that are facing each other. If you do choose such seats, we may need to reassign your seats to ensure that you are seated next to each other.
