Only 1 week left, please join us for a four-day printmaking camp for tweens and teens!
Campers explore silkscreen, foam-plate etching, block printing, and cyanotype, turning their designs into T-shirts, totes, bandanas, and patches. On the final day we host a mini exhibit, exchange an edition, and everyone takes home a portfolio of classmates’ work. Led by an experienced arts educator and small, woman-owned business owner who creates inclusive, hands-on art programs for schools, libraries, museums, and community organizations.
- Activities: Campers learn how to transfer custom designs onto t-shirts, totes, bandanas, and patches. The week typically ends with an artist print exchange and a mini exhibit.
- Dates & Times: Camp runs Monday 6/15/26 through Thursday 6/18/26 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- Registration: Managed through the Round Rock ISD Community Education Eleyo Portal.
Recap of our previous first week together:
We learned how to create prints at home: collagraphs, styrofoam and block prints (kids carved into their blocks), DIY silkscreen and cyanotype (sun prints).
Prints were made on paper using inks and on fabrics with textile inks. Kids were especially excited about printing on textiles they could wear: t-shirts (they custom altered), bandanas and tote bags. AND like professional artists, we printed and shared our own group print suite, including each signature!
By the end of our 4 days together in our small group I saw kids creating new friendships, feeling confident and proud, curious and exploring more prints at home.
