Juneteenth Festivities

Join Us for "A CELEBRATION OF FREEDOM"!
The Killeen Branch NAACP along with Rock Rose Foundation, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. and Killeen NPHC will kick off this year's Juneteenth Festivities on Friday, June 14 with the Miss Juneteenth Pageant. On June 15, will be the Parade, followed by the Picnic/GospelFest.
You won't want to miss what the NAACP has planned for FREEDOM DAY!

The Pageant- our beautiful queens from our community will vie for the title and the crown, as well as a $1,000 scholarship!
The Parade- our Grand Marshall will be our newly crowned Miss Juneteenth. Any and all are invited to participate and attend.
The Picnic/GospelFest- we have a little something for everyone: vendors, Jeremiah Ice, bounce houses, food, raffle items, a step-off by the D9 on "What Juneteenth Means 2 Me" (one of them will walk away with bragging rights and the trophy), and most importantly, fun for the entire family while understanding the importance behind Juneteenth.
