Manor Juneteenth Celebration honors the historic end of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to enforce the emancipation of all enslaved people, ensuring freedom for those still in bondage. Join us for a day of reflection and celebration, featuring games, arts and crafts, food trucks, local vendors, live music, a Black History Display, and much more. It’s a meaningful and festive occasion for the whole community to come together and commemorate this important moment in history.
