Montopolis (Highway Lights) Accompanies the Eclipse at Bobo's

Join us for a solar eclipse viewing event and musical performance by Highway Lights, a new ambient project that features Sara Nelson and Justin Sherburn of the band Montopolis.
Bobo's Snack Bar is an ideal central Austin location to experience the event with comfy outdoor furniture, unobstructed views of the sky, and delicious drinks at the ready.

Highway Lights will perform music from their new album "A Space of Partial Illumination" featuring sweeping cello solos and immersive sound design composed specifically to accompany the total solar eclipse. The music will begin at 1:15pm and the total eclipse will start at 1:36pm, so show up a bit early if you can to grab a good seat.
Highway Lights is cellist Sara Nelson and composer Justin Sherburn from the band Montopolis. Their new album "A Space of Partial Illumination" is a follow up to the 2021 release "Texas Workforce Commission Hold Music" and will be widely available for streaming on April 2, 2024.
