*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/28/2026
Join us for a biking adventure on park trails! Some equipment provided. Registration required.
Try trail biking in this safe and fun workshop! We have a few mountain bikes/helmets available to borrow on a first come, first served basis, or bring your own.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Please carefully read the requirements below, and then click here to register!
Requirements:
- Participants must have biking experience – this isn’t a “learn to ride” course. This class is designed for trail riding newbies who are looking to learn safety tips and insider tricks to become better at the sport.
- Participants must be at least 8 years of age.
- Participants under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
- Participants must sign a liability waiver.
- If you choose to bring your own bike, it must be a mountain bike (not a BMX bike). And if you sign up to borrow one of our bikes, you must be at least 5’ tall (we do not currently have mountain bikes available for kids).
- This class is limited to 10 participants, so participants must register online to attend. Click here to register!
Prepare: Dress for being active outside (layers and sturdy shoes recommended) and bring water.
