NASA OPSPARC Camp at Austin Peace Academy
*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 07/28/2023
Campers use creative and collaborative skills to design a mission patch, train like an astronaut, and solve
real-world engineering problems using spinoff technology, just like NASA astronauts working together on a
mission. They propose answers to questions like "How could space suit cooling tubes be used to solve a
problem here on Earth? How could robotic arms help make our world a better place?”

Think and act like NASA innovators during this hands-on program inspired by NASA’s current missions. The primary focus will include the ARTEMIS mission to the moon during which NASA will land the first woman and next man on the moon’s surface by 2024, using innovative technologies to explore more of the lunar surface than ever before.
