Join a Ranger to see what all the fuss is about! Make observations in your very own nature journal!
The power of observation has led to many discoveries! Go on a hike to meet Old Baldy with a Ranger. Together, we'll use our observation skills to start our own nature journals! Not an artist? No problem! All abilities are welcome.
Meet: Playground
Bring: A journal, something to write with, and colored pencils or crayons if you'd like. We will have basic limited art supplies at the park while supplies last. Please bring your own water, sunscreen, close toed shoes.
Difficulty: Easy! All ages are welcome, however, early explorers will need to be accompanied and assisted by a parent or guardian. We may be walking just under 1 mile.
Registration: not required, however normal entry fees must be paid at the Headquarters ($6/person 13 years and older. Kids 12 and under get in for free!)
