The Friends of the Round Rock Public Library are pleased to present a community reading program, One Community, Three Books: Round Rock Unites Through Reading. Our featured books are "We Are Not Like Them" by Christine Pride and Jo Piazza; "What Unites Us" by Dan Rather and Elliot Kirschner; and "Step Right Up" by Donna Janell Bowman. All three books include themes of overcoming differences, treating each other with kindness and respect, and finding our way back to neighborliness. Pick a book and start reading now!
Throughout April, we've planned related events for all ages, including a book discussion featuring authors Christine Pride and Jo Piazza; a panel discussion led by local community leaders; and youth programs conducted by author Donna Janell Bowman. Topping it off is our Mingle and Music event featuring live music, booths by local nonprofits, a 'community selfie' photo booth, and more! Visit roundrocktexas.gov/onecommunity for full details.
