What to expect on 1st Saturday of the month: We will feature the Orsay House, which was built in the 1870s as a residential home located at 903 Neches Street in downtown Austin; the Kruger Farm, a true reflection of what life was truly like for the early settlers with outdoor kitchen, corn crib barn and more; the shores of Walnut Creek that was once an encampment site for the of the Tonkawa people, and the Bell House, where the ethereal occupants of the house are always ready to visit. Bring cameras and audio recording equipment. We will also have equipment to share.
What to expect on the 3rd Saturday of every month. We will feature the Dessau Church, built in 1876 in the small community settled by German emigrants; the Bell house and detached kitchen where the ethereal occupants welcome our visits; the Jourdan Cabin, a traditional dog-trot style log cabin that was the original homestead on the Pioneer Farms site, and the Dodson House, a remaining example of how formerly enslaved Texans once lived and flourished in a Freedmens Colony near Manchaca. Bring cameras and audio recording equipment. We will also have equipment to share.
The haunt begins: Meet your guide who is an experienced paranormal investigator and researcher Monica Ballard or Sidney Weaver, in front of the Wessels dance hall. in Pioneer Farms’ town square.
