Join us for a family-friendly Pollinator Carnival that is part of 2023 Roots & Wings Festival. October 28, 2023 10:30-2pm. Free. Two Hives Honey Ranch at 7617 Nez Perce Trce | Manor, TX 78653
Come on out to the Two Hives Honey Ranch for some fresh air fun, crafts, and learning. Pollinators are the original trick or treaters, going from flower to flower looking for treats all while the flowers and plants are tricking them into pollinating them!
- Create your own pollinator antennae headband;
- View live honeybees (in a frame - no stings, get up close!);
- Native pollinator scavenger hunt;
- Make your own seed bombs to take home and plant;
- Prizes for the best costumes - wear your wings and come dressed as your favorite pollinator.
Parents looking for low sugar/highly festive/fresh air learning events – this is the ticket. Outdoor event, costumes encouraged. Learning, creativity, movement, natural fun -- all for Free.
There's also a Native Bee class from 9-10am if interested in getting really scientific about bees!
