Slot Car Camp

Campers will build model cars and race them, while learning about physics, electricity, and math in a fun and exciting environment.

One week day camps running weekly throughout the summer. For 4th grade through high school- our campers will learn modeling skills and how to safely use modeling and electrical tools such as small utility knives, wire strippers, tweezers, airbrushes, gear presses, and soldering irons. They will each build thier own model slot car and use it to compete against each other on various race tracks.. Campers will learn to use a computer aided design (CAD) program to layout and build thier own virtual slot car track. Campers will also watch age-appropriate racing related movies, play games, and not just build cars, but build friendships.
