The brothers that make up the Sons of Mystro were born and raised in South Florida to a Jamaican father (named Mystro!) and a Barbadian mother. Malcolm, 23, and his 20-year-old brother Umoja learned to play the violin through South Florida’s public school system and attended Dillard High School for the Performing Arts. Mentored by fellow Florida-raised artists, Black Violin, these musicians’ stars are on the rise!
Attendees will take home an Activity Guide filled with interactive and educational activities.
Parking: Complimentary parking is available at the Huston-Tillotson parking lot on Chalmers Ave. (Accessed by 7th or 11th Streets) After parking, enter the Huston-Tillotson campus by passing under the Archway across the street from the parking lot. Look for the Paramount signs leading to the King-Seabrook Chapel or the Bell Tower attached to the chapel, which is visible from anywhere on campus.
