*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 02/09/2020
The Sunday Morning Math Group is an outreach event targeted at 6th-12th graders which attempts to supplement math topics that aren't often covered in traditional math classes. The SMMG will be in room 4.102 of Robert Lee Moore Hall (on UT’s campus) on Sunday, Feb 9, 2020 from 12-2pm. We're going to talk about an awesome pattern that comes up in geometry, called Pick's Theorem. Pick's Theorem says there is an awesome relationship between the area of things called lattice polygons!
