Celebrate Chimney Swift migration with us! Learn about Chimney Swifts and watch hundreds of these tiny aerialists return to their chimney after a long day of enjoying insects.
We recommend bringing lawn chairs or a picnic blanket, snacks, water, and any friends or family who enjoy nature.
Directions: Enter Pickle Campus from Burnet by turning onto Read Granberry Trail. The Vertebrate Paleontology Lab is the last building on the right. You will need to pay for parking, there’s a kiosk to the right as you enter campus, and another below the big water tower. The exact location of the nearest parking lot is pinned here.
Map of JJ Pickle Research Campus Nearest parking lot is marked 216 on the map.
Accessible parking is available o the south side of the Vertebrate Paleontology lab, and a ramp provides access to the entrance to the lab with bathrooms.
