In this week long camp:

We’ll make a range of cool projects to use in your everyday life like zip pouches, tool or pencil cases, cross body or mini messenger bags, and hip packs.

We’ll use applique and hand embroidery to add flair to a garment or bag, or use decorative mending to give a favorite piece of clothing new life.

We’ll learn various zipper techniques, how to sew with clear vinyl, how to make a fully lined bag, plus some fun hand stitching skills to add to your creative toolkit.

This class will be taught be Niku Arbabi of xostitches.net

Prerequisite: this camp is for teens (12-17) with basic machine sewing experience, and for those who are confident/intermediate sewists who want to try some more advanced techniques.

Previous hand sewing experience is not required.

If it’s been more than a few months since you’ve independently sewn a project, we’re happy to set up a private lesson refresher to get you up to speed. Please contact us as soon as possible to set that up.

If you have any questions about your skill level, we are happy to discuss! Just send us an e-mail at studio@theclothpocket.com
