Austin Aquarium
This Aquarium has so many fish and animals! Sharks, Stingrays, Giant Pacific Octopus, Lorikeets, Macaws, Reptiles, and Amphibians. Plus, new mammals like kinkajous and Lemurs. The best part is you can pet and feed them all. If you come in to visit you might even spot a Mermaid or Princess!
The Robinson Family Farm

Science Mill

Of course, the libraries in the Austin area are not really ONE place, but MANY places... but it's important to emphasize how valuable libraries are for family learning and fun. Austin Bat Cave
The Austin Bat Cave offers many different avenues for students of all ages to grow as writers. The drop-in after school tutoring hours provide time for help with homework and a more laid-back environment for mentoring. The in-school tutoring focuses on absorbing grammar and increasing fluency through creative writing; students in this program generate and revise their own work as well as acting as their own editorial board to put together an anthology for the year called, “Hand and Wing”.
Peter Pan Mini Golf

Zilker Metropolitan ParkZilker Metropolitan park is a 351-acre metropolitan park is home to a variety of recreation opportunities, facilities and special events for individuals and families. It has pinic sites, play areas, disc golf, volleyball courts, a club house, the Austin Nature and Science center, Barton Springs Pool, McBeth Recreation Center and the Zilker Botanical Gardens. Throughout the year the park holds a variety of events such as the Zilker Park Kite Festival and the Trail of Lights, in addition many others.
