Trash Art Week : Contest and Crafts

To reframe how we see trash and to keep Elgin beautiful, the Parks Dept is hosting a Trash Art Contest. Everyone, child to adult is encouraged to participate in one of our age brackets for our contest to see who can best turn trash in to treasure! You can create a collage, sculpture, jewelry, whatever your heart desires so long as it is made from 90%+ recycled materials.

Learn how to upcycle those plastic shopping bags into a handy basket!
