Water Safety Presentation for Parents/Caregivers focusing on how you and your family can be safer around water to prevent drowning.

• Presented by Amy Linkous of Swim for All in collaboration with One of the Kids and the Autism Society of Texas.
• Drowning is the number one cause of unintentional injury-related death for children under 5 and a leading cause for ages 1-14.
• Drowning is a leading cause of death for children with autism and accounts for approximately 90 percent of deaths associated with wandering or bolting by those age 14 and younger.
• DROWNING IS FAST and SILENT.
• No one is drown proof.
• Drowning is preventable.
