Congress Avenue Kayaks invites our downtown neighbors, workers, and visitors to Lady Bird Lake in fabulous downtown Austin to paddle a stand-up paddleboard or a kayak and see the super city skyline, the rowers gliding by, the swans, the fishing folks, and more. Open everyday, with last boats of the day launched one hour prior to closing. Located right on Lady Bird Lake in the city's new Waller Creek Boathouse next to Congress Avenue Bridge, we specialize in getting the first-time kayakers on the water, with easy to use stand-up paddleboards and kayaks for the novices and experienced kayakers.
