HealthStart’s programs give children the science for building strong brains and bodies so they can reach their full potential and contribute to our communities. The science helps kids understand why we eat and do certain things to keep our bodies healthy. HealthStart lessons also teach kids that when we take care of one another and our environment, we can build community health and well-being.
Snack Science is a series of interactive workshops for kids and their families. Each workshop focuses on a specific body system, with a series of activities. Each workshop ends with the kids making their own healthy snack.
