Holiday Traditions Exhibit
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 01/04/2025
The Bastrop Museum is proud to present a vibrant new exhibit that explores the rich diversity of holiday traditions across cultures and time. From the twinkling lights of Diwali to the joy of Christmas, the unity of Kwanzaa, the celebration of Hanukkah, the reflection of Ramadan, (and maybe even the fun of Festivus)—you’ll learn how communities around the globe honor their beliefs, heritage, and history during these special times of year. Don't miss out on this inspiring journey through global holiday traditions—there's something for everyone! There will even be holiday crafts for kids!
The exhibit’s official opening will be on November 30th for Bastrop’s Wassail Fest. Come down and explore the exhibit as you sip our award-winning wassail!
