At Variety, we envision a world without stigma and isolation for children with special needs and their families. We impact children by providing resources and empowering experiences through outdoor education, environmental education, overnight summer camp at Variety's Peaceable Kingdom and performing arts programs through our Variety Arts program.
Variety’s “Outdoor Adaptive Education” program serves PreK – 12th grade students, as well as students with special needs and disability-focused groups, with its opportunities for interactive learning through adventure at Peaceable Kingdom by Variety. The program’s customized (and adaptive) curriculum is designed to complement the classroom and inspire a passion for lifelong learning. The three core pillars of the “Outdoor Adaptive Education Program” learning curriculum focus on: environmental education, recreational therapy and life skills.
